[edit] Oh. did I mention? Yesterday, while shopping, we went to Best, and looked at mp3s! I thought I was going to get it right there and then. GEEZ! My dad thinks 1GB is sufficient! NO WAY MAN! Even the ALL the audio files in my computer adds up to MORE than 1GB! I want AT LEAST a 5 or 6GB one. ): Zen Micro? Or Zen Neeon? OH. And yesterday, I saw Chen Hanwei at the Adidas section in Takashimaya. LOL. My dad said all actors are pocked-face when up close. LOL. If only this was Korean. Maybe I'll get to see my Korean Idol! BAHHH. I doubt they'll be pocked-face! LOL. [/edit]
It's Sunday already! I'm starting to feel the pressure. Only a week left until school reopens! Anyway, Father's Day was yesterday. My family and I went for dinner at Lemongrass. The food is HOT. And it's expensive too! My dad wanted the bill to reach a hundred dollars, but we always fail to do so.
We did a little shopping after that. I was THIS close to getting my grad night outfit. I know it's a little early to buy my gradnight outfit now, but seriously, I'm constantly worrying about it. You do know my classmates. They'll probably turn up in something really nice, and I wouldn't want to embarrass myself by turning up in something horrid. Plus, the dress I saw was not-too-ex and very nice, but it didn't have my size. BAHHH. I got NO assets. Maybe I should scout for my gradnight dress now, since it's the Great Singapore Sale and all. It'll probably be cheaper.
Oh oh! While I was shopping, yesterday, I saw a guy in Korean jersey! LOL. I wonder where he got that(?) Jerseys are expensive! LOL. TOO BAD, if not I'll buy a jersey!
Anyway, I watched Black Hawk Down yesterday. It's a really nice show. I mixed up Josh Harnett and Ben Affleck though. LOL. I kept thinking (all this while) that Josh Harnett is Ben Affleck. LOL. Get it? Okay, nevermind. Josh Harnett is good looking. He got pretty boy eyes. Right. Back to what I was saying. I was watching the show, and a few thoughts occurred to me.
First, Black Hawk Down was based on a true story right? And it led me to think about how unprepared Americans always are. I thought they should know better, since that Black Hawk Down thingy occurred after World War II. But no, they're always so unprepared.
Second, it's amazing how the higher rank army officials get to sit and watch the soliders fighting. Since they're of high rank, should they lead? They always don't die because they're safe watching the soldiers fight, while the poor soldiers risk their lives. What's worse is that these people chances of promotion are slim. Why? Not because they're performance is bad, but because they won't live to have a promotion. How tragic.
Thirdly, you know that controversial topic? About women having to join NS? Well, we can't. Not because we're naturally weaker than men. But because of our monthly cycles. Imagine this scenario. We're in the midst of a battle, and we are having our you-know-what. The battle goes on for at least 20 hours. Imagine! Not being able to bathe when you're having THAT for 20hours? Grotesque! Plus, with the bullets shooting here and there, the blood will all get mixed up. You won't know whether you're actually injured, or it's just your you-know-what. Not only that. Imagine getting shot in your thigh. Someone, the medic, has to attend to your wound. Imagine tearing off the material around your thighs and seeing the - Yea. You get the idea. LOL. I shall stop here. It's getting abit gross. But anyway, my point is that women can NEVER go for NS. No point even considering. The show was tragic. There was this part where a guy got shot in the leg. (That's where my example came from) And the medic had to stick his leg into the leg to find the bullet, that actually got caught on some artery. OMG. Pain. If I were that guy, I'd rather die, then go through the pain. Afterall, he died in the end, due to the excessive loss of blood. I think. So yea. That's all! I better go start on my never ending homework. ONE MORE WEEK. Shit! I'm starting to panic!
Cause everybody tries to put some love on the line And everybody feels a broken heart sometimes And even when I'm scared I have to try to fly Sometimes I fall but I've seen it done before I gotta step outside these walls
